Daisy Green

Mother Nature's Green Thumbs

Daisy lives on her block in the Hills of Perth, where she enjoys going on walks with her dog Jeff, in the bush. In the evenings she has a glass of wine, enjoying the heady scents of the gums and the spectacular city skyline.

Before she started writing Garden and Plant non-fiction, Daisy grew up on the family farm near Busselton south of Perth, where her family grows flowers for market. She moved to Perth to marry her late husband and they settled in the hills. Soon she took up work on a ‘Plants for Retail’ farm and expanded her plant knowledge after being exposed to over 2000 different plants over some 15 years.

Daisy spends her days pottering around her spectacular indigenous garden and writing on her wrap-around veranda, seeking to help her fellow green-thumbed peers and supporting those that dabble in this magical green art.
